How to Make a Legacy of Love after Loss.

Coping

If you have felt called to write a book, create an awareness campaign, or help others through loss, I’d love to support you in this powerful and much needed work.

In this workshop replay, Crystal-Gayle Williams and I are sharing some encouragement and suggestions to guide you and inspire you in creating your own legacy of love in memory of your lost little one.

Crystal-Gayle Williams is the founder of @4Damani and has done some phenomenal work for infant loss advocacy and awareness community in memory of her son. In 2019, she was named one of Jamaica’s top 12 women of the year for her work as a trailblazer, advocate and voice of change for pregnancy and infant loss awareness. In this workshop replay, Crystal-Gayle shares how she managed to create changes in legislation, awareness and support services to break the silence of loss in an area where there previously had been no dialogue about this important topic.

We’re going to share with you what helped us to start and grow our legacy projects and offer you some practical advice to help you get your own message heard.

There is something so powerful and healing about transforming your pain into a sense of purpose.

No, this work does not take the ache of missing my daughter away, but it does feel really good to know that her life has now impacted thousands of people.

At the time when I started the Love & Loss Project, I had no idea what it would become, I only knew that I needed to build it. I needed to offer other parents what I had been looking for through my grief.

I’m really proud of the fact that the Love & Loss Project now supports women & couples in 24 countries and I’m grateful for all the people who have let me know that my work has helped carry them through the worst experience possible.

This is my tribute to my bright-eyed girl.

This is the Legacy of Love I committed to building for her in the early days of my grief.

Here’s what you’re going to learn in this workshop:

  • how we started our projects & what’s made them successful.
  • tips & tools that will help you in creating your own project
  • why your voice is needed and there is room for you to share your gifts and your ideas with the world.

The Q & A section has been edited out to protect the privacy of the live participants.
